What to Expect

The Hormone Restoration Process — Step by Step

From your first conversation to long-term optimization, here is exactly what the program at Eternal MedSpa looks like — and what you can realistically expect at each phase of your journey.

Before We Begin

A Program Built for Long-Term Results — Not a Quick Fix

Hormone restoration is a medical process, not a one-time procedure. What that means in practice: the program involves an upfront investment of time and information, followed by a structured, ongoing relationship with your clinical team. Results improve over months as dosing is refined to your specific physiology — and they are maintained through continuous monitoring and optimization.

The process below is a framework. Your specific experience will be shaped by your individual health history, whether you need labs upfront, and how your body responds to initial protocols. Your Eternal provider will walk you through everything that applies to you at your consultation.

Your Journey

Five Steps to Hormonal Balance

01

Comprehensive Consultation

Your program begins with a thorough one-on-one consultation with an Eternal MedSpa provider. This is not a cursory 10-minute appointment. It is a substantive clinical conversation designed to build a complete picture of who you are and what's happening in your body.

  • Detailed symptom review — duration, severity, pattern, and impact on daily life
  • Full health history, including prior diagnoses, medications, supplements, and family history
  • Prior hormone therapy experience (if any) — what was tried, what worked, what didn't
  • Discussion of your goals, preferences, and lifestyle considerations
  • Review of any recent lab work you may already have
  • Explanation of the program, the BRITE™ system, membership options, and what to expect

By the end of your consultation, you will have a clear understanding of whether you are a candidate, what lab work (if any) is needed, and what the next steps look like specifically for you.

What to Bring

Any recent labs you have, a list of current medications and supplements, and a genuine sense of what you've been experiencing. The more you share, the more useful the conversation. There are no wrong answers — this is a safe, judgment-free clinical setting.

02

Lab Work (When Required)

For men, comprehensive lab work is required before any prescriptions are issued — without exception. For women, labs are strongly recommended and may be required depending on your health history, though some women can begin their membership without labs if clinically appropriate.

When labs are needed, Eternal will connect you with their network lab partner. Blood draws can typically be completed within a few days. You pay the lab directly — Eternal MedSpa does not mark up or profit from lab fees.

Typical Labs Evaluated May Include:

  • Comprehensive sex hormone panel: estradiol, total and free testosterone, progesterone, SHBG, DHEA-S
  • Thyroid panel: TSH, free T3, free T4 (and thyroid antibodies if indicated)
  • Complete blood count (CBC) and comprehensive metabolic panel (CMP)
  • Lipid panel and cardiovascular markers
  • PSA (men only — prostate-specific antigen, required for testosterone therapy)
  • Additional markers as clinically relevant to your individual case

Once results are received, your provider reviews them in the context of your symptom presentation — looking not just at whether values are within population "normal" ranges, but whether they are optimal for you specifically.

03

Your Individualized Protocol

Based on your labs, your symptom picture, and your health history, your Eternal provider designs a protocol specific to your body. The BRITE™ clinical decision support system informs dosing recommendations, safety parameters, and formulation choices — ensuring your prescription is grounded in a structured clinical methodology rather than provider intuition alone.

  • Specific hormones to be addressed, in specific amounts and ratios
  • Delivery method (typically transdermal — applied topically, no injections required for most patients)
  • Application schedule (timing, frequency, application sites)
  • BRITE™ app setup — your dosing reminders, schedule, and clinical questionnaires are configured
  • Prescriptions are sent to a certified compounding pharmacy partner and shipped directly to your home

From the time your protocol is approved and prescription is transmitted, you can typically expect your first prescription to arrive within 7–10 business days.

Why Compounded Prescriptions?

Compounding allows your prescription to be individualized — the exact dose, the exact hormone combination, in the exact formulation your protocol calls for. Mass-manufactured hormone products come in fixed doses and limited formats. A customized prescription, prepared by a certified compounding pharmacy in an organic BRITE™ base, cannot be replicated off the shelf.

04

Beginning Treatment — and What to Expect

Once your prescription arrives, you begin your protocol as directed. The BRITE™ app will guide you — daily reminders at the right times, clear instructions for application, and check-in questionnaires that help your provider track your progress from the start.

A Realistic Timeline

Hormone restoration is not instantaneous. Here is what most patients experience:

  • Weeks 1–4: The body begins adjusting to restored hormone levels. Some patients notice early improvements in sleep or energy. Some feel no change yet. Occasional early fluctuations in mood or minor bloating can occur as levels adjust — these typically resolve.
  • Months 1–3: Most patients begin experiencing meaningful improvements across energy, sleep quality, mood, and cognitive clarity. Hot flashes often reduce significantly. Early body composition changes may begin. Libido improvements commonly emerge in this window.
  • Months 3–6: The consolidation phase. As dosing is refined based on your follow-up labs and questionnaire data, benefits deepen and stabilize. Most patients report this as when the full picture of improvement becomes clear.
  • 6 Months and Beyond: Long-term optimization. Ongoing monitoring maintains you at your optimal levels, adjusting as your body, life circumstances, or seasons change. Benefits are maintained and, for many patients, continue to improve with sustained management.

Patience and consistency are the two most predictive factors in outcome. Patients who adhere to their protocol and remain engaged with the process achieve the best results.

05

Ongoing Monitoring and Optimization

Hormone balance is not a static destination — it's a dynamic state that requires ongoing attention. Your body, stress levels, season, sleep patterns, and aging all influence your hormone needs over time. The Eternal membership model exists precisely because this reality makes ongoing care not optional, but essential.

  • Periodic lab follow-up evaluates how your levels are responding to treatment and informs dosing adjustments
  • Regular symptom questionnaires via the BRITE™ app keep your provider informed between appointments
  • Dose adjustments are made as your labs and clinical picture evolve — the app updates automatically when prescriptions change
  • Your monthly wellness injections (B12, NAD+, or Glutathione, per your membership tier) are administered in-clinic
  • Laser treatment credits (Elevated and Signature members) can be applied toward qualifying Eternal MedSpa treatments each month
  • Your care team remains accessible — you are not alone between appointments

For many patients, the ongoing relationship with their Eternal provider becomes one of the most valuable aspects of their healthcare — a clinical partnership that takes their whole-person wellbeing seriously, month after month and year after year.

Results by Month

What Most Patients Experience, and When

Individual results vary. This represents a composite of common patient experiences — your timeline may be faster, or may take longer, depending on your baseline levels, protocol, and individual biology.

Weeks 1–2

Adjustment Period

Your body begins adapting to restored hormone levels. Most patients notice nothing dramatic yet — some experience mild fluctuations in mood or energy as levels adjust. This is normal physiology, not a sign that the protocol is wrong. Consistency is the most important thing you can do during this phase.

Weeks 2–6

Early Signals

Many patients notice the earliest improvements in sleep quality and energy first — often before libido, mood, or cognition fully shift. Night sweats may begin to reduce. Some patients describe waking up and feeling, for the first time in years, actually rested. These early signals indicate the protocol is taking effect.

Months 1–3

Meaningful Improvement

This is typically when the majority of patients experience their most notable shift. Energy is up. Sleep is deeper. Mood is more stable. Hot flashes are reduced or eliminated. Cognitive clarity improves. Libido begins returning. Most patients describe their 60–90 day mark as the point where they feel like themselves again — sometimes for the first time in years.

Months 3–6

Protocol Refinement and Stabilization

Follow-up labs inform dosing adjustments that dial in the protocol to your optimal levels. Benefits deepen and consolidate. Body composition changes (lean muscle, fat distribution) become more apparent for patients who are also supporting their protocol with consistent exercise and nutrition. For many patients, this is when they describe the full transformation as "complete."

6+ Months

Long-Term Optimization

Ongoing maintenance at your optimal levels. Periodic monitoring, seasonal adjustments, and continued wellness injection benefits. The long-term health picture — bone density, cardiovascular support, cognitive protection — compounds over years of sustained hormone optimization. Patients who remain in the program long-term consistently describe it as one of the best health investments they've made.

Common Questions About the Process

Quick Answers

Plan for approximately 60 minutes. This is a substantive clinical conversation, not a quick evaluation. Your provider takes the time to understand your full picture before making any recommendations.

Bring them to your consultation — they may be usable and can accelerate the process. Your provider will review what you have and determine whether additional testing is needed before beginning your protocol.

Prescriptions are shipped to your home, and the BRITE™ app supports remote management of your protocol. Wellness injections and in-person appointments do require a Sarasota visit, so patients who split their time should discuss scheduling with their provider at consultation.

Protocol adjustment is a normal and expected part of the process — especially in the first 3 months. Your provider monitors your response through questionnaires and lab follow-up and will adjust doses as needed. You also have access to your care team between appointments through the BRITE™ app if concerns arise.

The membership model is designed for ongoing care because ongoing care is what hormone balance requires. The clinical reality is that patients who discontinue before the 3–6 month mark rarely see the full potential of the program. Your provider will discuss commitment expectations in full at your consultation.
